New electricity tariff plan in Nigeria

 The acting chairman of  the NERC (Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission), Dr. Anthony Akah has said that the new electricity tariffs approved for electricity consumers across the country will become effective from Monday, 1st February 2016 and that it would also enable the power distribution, generation and transmission companies to acquire needed infrastructure.
 He stated this in a courtesy call  by the National Orientation Agency in Abuja.
