THE RICH AND THE BLESSED
Many people do not know that there are differences between a rich person and a blessed person, but when compared they are two different set of people.
A rich person is an individual who possesses great things (material) or is wealthy in terms of resources.
But a blessed person is a person who has being empowered by God. It can be in a material or non material form and cannot be acquired in ordinary circumstances. Blessing is an empowerment that stimulates you to serve God. The bible says " the blessing of the Lord maketh rich and added no sorrows". It generates joy to praise God, and in God's presence blessing is produced.
The blessing of the Lord is creative, it creates favour for men. Once God blesses you, you cannot be destroyed Isaiah 65:8, Numbers 6: 24-26.
When you obey God's word, blessings will come upon you and overtake you, read the book of Deutronomy28:2-8 and it would explain some things to you.
