WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO FEAR GOD ?
You might wonder, God says we should fear Him. Is the fear of being scared of Him ? No, its not that, the Bible says in the book of Proverbs chapter 9 : 10 "the fear of the Lord ia the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding".
Fearing God or rather the fear of God means that we should love Him. Its the scripture that refers the synonym of "the love of God" as "the fear of God". It means we should obey His commandments, respect Him, value Him and honor Him.
So to fear God automatically means to love Him with all our heart.
