Nigeria Spent Close To 1 Trillion Naira On Food Importation In 2015-CBN

 The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) governor, Godwin Emefiele, on Thursday stated that Nigeria spent 972.59 billion Naira on importation of staples (wheat, rice etc) alone in the year 2015. The CBN governor in a keynote address stated this at the first New Telegraph Economic Summit, represented by his deputy.
