CRS Launches First Monorail In Sub Sahara Africa

 Cross River state, making another remarkable achievement has launched the first ultra-modern monorail in Sub-Sahara Africa, the rail took of from Tinapa Business Resort, Calabar to the Calabar International Convention Centre (CICC) at Summit Hills and again back to Tinapa.

 Cross River state first introduced the first cable car in Nigeria which is the longest in Africa and also the first to launch a canopy walk way in Nigeria during Donald Duke's administration as a governor.
 Taking the maiden ride was the Governor of Cross River state, Prof Ben Ayade, the Managing Director of Assets Management Company of Nigeria (AMCON), Mr. Ahmed Kuru and other officials were present.
 According to them; the monorail was designed as a means of transportation for tourists between the Tinapa Business and Leisure Resort and the multi purpose Calabar International Convention Centre.
 The MD of AMCON, Mr. Kuru expressed happiness, saying that the monorail "gives you the opportunity to see one of the most beautiful scenarios in the world and I ma very impressed about what I saw."

 Governor Ayade expressed satisfaction and also commended AMCON. He said the project was "conceptualised by Donald Duke prosecuted, prosecuted by senator Liyel Imoke" and he finished it up.
