FG Needs 2 Trillion Naira to Complete Ongoing Road Projects-Says Fashola

Mr. Babatunde Fashola, the Minister of Works, Power and Housing has stated that the Federal Government of Nigeria, would require about  2 trillion Naira to complete the 226 ongoing road projects in the country.
 He stated this in Lagos, at a Town Hall meeting, he said 500 billion was allocated to his ministry for the 2016 budget, stressing that the government did not have enough resources to complete all the projects at present.
 On electricity metering, Mr. Fashola said that his ministry was engaging the distribution companies to ensure that meters would be distributed to households.
 Discussing about housing, he said government was designing a housing model for the country that would not only take care of affordability problem but also consider cultural sustainability in every part of Nigeria.
