SON Confiscates Fake Eletric Cables In Plateau State

The Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON), an organisation set to investigate the quality of facilities the quality of facilities, materials and products in Nigeria has seized fake and substandard electric cables worth millions of Naira in Jos, Plateau state.

 Plateau state Head of SON, Musa George explained that the raid on the electrical shops selling fake and substandard cables to unsuspecting members of the public is to ensure that only goods that meet the requirements of the relevant Nigerian Industrial standards are sold in the market.

 meanwhile, the nine shops selling the fake electrical products, were also sealed.
