SON Would Begin Enforcement On The Use Of Energy Saving Appliances- Says Official

 The Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON) has stated it's plan to begin the enforcement on the use of  energy savings appliances in Nigeria, in order to conserve the nation's resources.
 Mr. Richard Adewunmi, the Head, Electrical and Engineering Department of the Agency stated this during a technical committee meeting on standards and labels (MEPS) held under the Nigerian Energy Support Programme (NESP) for air conditioners in Nigeria.
 he said the meeting would prepare minimum energy consumption standards for electronic appliances.
