Agatu Killings: Benue People Demand N100 Billion As Compensation

Following the Fulani herdsmen attack on the people of Agatu, in Benue state of Nigeria, the people of Benue are now asking for 100 billion Naira as compensation for the attacks.

 The President-General of the Mdzugh U Tiv (MUT), a socio-cultural organisation, Edward Ujege said that not less than 500 people were killed in the attacks and that N100 billion would be needed for compensation.
 Meanwhile, the Inspector_general of Police, Solomon Arase has stated that  18 persons have being arrested in connection with the attack.
