Does Nigeria's Ministry Of Science And Tech Have Solutions To Tomato Scarcity

 Following the tomato scarcity case in Nigeria, due to the tomato pest known as Tuta Absoluta, the Minister of Science and Technology, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu, gave some clues of how his Ministry could curb the case of the tomato pest problem.

 The Minister said, an agency under his Ministry, the National Institute for Chemical Technology, (NARICT) in Zaria, has developed a pesticide agent in Nigeria, that could curb the case.
 Dr. Onu, in his reactions meant that pesticides could be developed in Nigeria and that there was no reason whatsoever to "go outside the country to import a solution."
 The Minister said "Nigeria, following the leadership provide by President Muhammadu Buhari will soon be in a position where other nations can copy from her rather than Nigeria copying at all times from other nations."
