Lagos State Police command has arrested a bricklayer identified as Demola Waisu, for allegedly stabbing his 27 year old friend Lekan Omotosho for refusing to plug his phone on power.

 According to Daily Post; he stabbed (Lekan) the victim in the armpit with a broken bottle, after he refused to charge his phone.
 The Police arrested the suspect on Saturday and transferred the case to the State Department of Criminal Investigation, SDCI in Yaba.
 After his arrest, the suspect was like "All I want is forgiveness. I did not mean to kill him. he was my friend and I have no reason to kill him."
 "Please Epp me beg them to give me another chance. I have no dad or mum to assist me."
 The victim, Lekan Ajele reportedly died on arrival at the Lagos Island General Hospital.
 Before then, news investigation from the Punch showed that the boss of the deceased, Olayinka Oyinloye had warned him against his friendship with Wasiu (the suspect) after he was arrested for a crime he knew nothing about.
 Lekan Omotosho's boss, Mr. Oyinloye said "Omotosho came to Lagos from Mowe, Ogun state, three months ago. Just two months ago the police arrested him while watching over Wasiu's phone.
 The problem is that they usually smoke hemp in that place where they charge phones. Throughout the time of his detention, this so called friend did not check on him."
 "After Ingot him out on bail, I warned him against friendship and cautioned him not allow anybody put him in trouble."
 "On the day of the incident, Wasiu came again and asked him to help him charge his phone and watch over it. Omotosho refused. That was how he became angry and started fighting"
 "Wasiu stabbed him and fell down and started bleeding."
 Mr. Oyinloye added that the victim's parents have arrived from Ogun state to receive the corpse from the police.
