Nigeria's Insurance Sector, Among The Top Ten In Africa

Despite Nigeria's economic challenge, Nigeria has emerged as one of the top insurance markets in Africa, which ranks as the third in Africa.

 It's overall premium income is N386 billion which is over a billion Dollar.

 The immediate past President of African Insurance Organisations (AIO), Mrs. Lamaian Ben Mohmoud, at the recently concluded 43rd AIO conference and General Assembly in Marrakech, Morocco, said Africa's insurance premium volume in 2014, totaled $69 billion showing a slide from $72 billion level in 2013.
