Buying a car for something close to $5 million is not a joke, and the Swedish Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita seems to be that car that is  the most expensive. The price of this car is about $4.8 million according to source.

It still seems to be the most expensive car maybe because everyone is thinking about "The Driverless Cars" so car firms would just want to sell off their man-driven cars at normal prices although the likes of Lamborghini Veneno, Lykan Hypersports, Bugatti Veyron, Pagani Huayra, Ferrari, Porsche are still on the high side.

Why Is It That Expensive ?
The Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita is a car in which it's Carbon fibers is coated with diamond and imagine wrapping a vehicle with diamond and we know how it cost to buy a single necklace that has (small) diamond, and then say this car won' t be this expensive.

So far, since it's existence only three models have being made and I guess it would be for big guys like Bill Gates, Warrren Buffet, Aliko Dangote and others.....
The CXX Trevita has 4.7 Litres twin supercharge, V8 engine capable of producing 806ps (593 KW;795hp) at 700 rpm and 920 N.m (679lb.ft) at 5700 rpm of torgue while running on 91 octane gasoline.
Although a newer model, Koenigsegg Agera R exist but still yet, the Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita still is the most expensive car.
