Iconic Author, Elechi Amadi Passes Out @ 82

Nigeria's renowned Author, Elechi Amadi has being confirmed dead. He died at age 82 in a Hospital in Port Harcourt.

 A family member, Bar Wibueze Amadi confirmed it that he died at about 3:45 pm.



 He was noted as one of Africa's first generation writers and novelist, some of his books include: The Concubine, The Great Ponds, Isiburu, Sunset in Biafra, Dance of Johannesburg, Peppersoup, The Road to Ibadan, The Slave, Estrangement and also the The Women in Calabar.
 The author was born in May 12, 1934 and died on July 29, 2016.
