Nigerian Banks Were Defrauded Of N18 Billion in 2015-NDIC

According to a statement by the Nigerian Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC), the Nigerian banking sector has recorded no fewer than 12,279 fraud cases that has the sum of N18.02 billion in 2015's financial report.




 This now represents an increase of 15.71 per cent over 10,612 that was recorded in 2014 in terms of cases but when it comes to the amount of money, there was a reduction of N7.59 billion because in 2014 Nigerian banks were defrauded of 25.6 billion.
