Apple To Start Selling Solar Power

The tech giant Apple has being approved by the US Federal Energy regulators to start the sales of solar power at market-based rates.





 Apple owns solar generation capacity of 20 megawatts in Nevada, 50 megawatts in Arizona and 130 megawatts in California.
 According to them it could power thousands of homes in that area.



 Recall that last year, the tech firm apple , acquired a 2900 acre power facility in Monterrey County, California, which gives it 130 megawatts of solar energy capacity at the cost of $850 million, now they are going to monetize it as they are being given approval..
