Ayade Says $3 Million Has Being Set Aside For Creating Beach Resort In Calabar South

The Governor of Cross River state, Prof. Ben Ayade has on Wednesday announced plans to build a beach resort in Calabar South, he said a team of investors has set aside $3 million for the purpose of the project.




 The Governor revealed this during the inspection of Nsiding Beach in Calabar South, saying that the construction will commence by the 2nd week of September, 2016.




 Governor Ayade said those living in such areas would have to relocate, he said the state government will provide free houses under it's social housing scheme for the ones that would relocate.



 He said "it is obvious that as Cross River state continues to blaze the trail in tourism, we must develop our water fronts in such a way that we find maximum value."
