Some Edo Local Government Staff Are Protesting Over Non-Payment of Salaries

A mass protest was observed on Wednesday by some Edo State Local Government workers on issues that was about non-payment of their salaries. The protest was so obvious that it affected commercial activities in the state's capital Benin City.

 According to PM News, the workers were under the Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) and the protesters consists of employees of the 18 local government council of Edo State.



They threatened that if they were not answered they could go on strike.
