Sanusi Urges Buhari To Prosecute Public Looters

Muhammad Sanusi II (Sanusi Lamido Sanusi), the Emir of Kano, has urged the Buhari led administration to prosecute looters of public funds in as much as the funds are being recovered, says it will serve as a deterrent to others.

 The Emir, who is also a former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria gave the advice while delivering a lecture on the deregulation of the downstream oil sector and Nigeria's economic development at the National Defence College, Abuja on Wednesday.



 Part of what is said was, "We are surprised that we have an economic recession, we are actually surprised that we are in recession, we are actually surprised that we are in recession ? We created the recession."
