Train Bangs With Toyota Pick-Up Injures 2

A passenger train moving at Woji axis of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State has on Monday reportedly collided with a Toyota Hilux that was on the rail line, which left two people seriously injured.




 According to Punch an eyewitness said that the bang made people to rush to the scene where the accident occurred the eyewitness stated that two persons who were occupants of the Hilux van were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital.



 The eyewitness said "Many feared that the train would trample on the Hilux Van. Initially we thought the Hilux belonged to the Police. We thank God that no life was lost during the course of the accident,"
 The driver of the Toyota Hilux who was one of the injured persons, was believed to have disobeyed the construction of a traffic warden that told him to stop for the train to pass.
