Two Suicide Bomb Attack Hits Maiduguri
Two suicide bombers have on Wednesday hit Maiduguri,
the capital of Borno State. According to a witness, the first blast occurred around
2 am, while the second came at about 5:30 am.
According to
source, the first suicide bomber was said to have targeted the house of a youth
vigilante, a member of the Civilian Joint task force (JTF) who usually does
routine checks at major roads in town.
The second
suicide bomber detonated the explosive at the Central Mosque in Kalot, when
Muslims faithful were observing the early morning prayers.
The witness
said “The second bomber who attempted to ram into the Central Mosque in Kalot
also did not succeed as the suicide bomber died a lone death while injuring two
people.”
