BREAKING NEWS: Nigerian Governors Hold In-door Meetings inside Aso Rock

It seems some state governors under the umbrella of the Nigerian Governors Forum are in an (emergency) meeting in the Old Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja. Find out what they were discussing as you read below.

The meeting is being presided over by the Zamfara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulazeez Yari, who is the Chairman of the Nigerian Governors Forum.

The meeting is meant to afford the governors the opportunity of taking common stands on issues ahead a meeting of the National Economic Council scheduled for Thursday and also review the probe by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on the Paris Club loan refund to states.

Prof. Yemi Osinbajo who is the acting President, will preside over the National Executive Council (NEC) meeting.
