Man Burnt to Death In Calabar South

At about 12 noon on Thursday afternoon in White House Street (Dan Archibong Street), Calabar South, Cross River State, a young man was being treated to jungle justice and was severely beaten and burnt to death for allegedly stealing in Calabar South with his fellow gang members.

 According to an eyewitness, the young man belonged to a dangerous and notorious robbery gang that usually terrorizes the area by performing robbery attack.




An eyewitness who also spoke in the condition of anonymity, explained that three members of the gang had already being caught earlier on by the police, while one other escaped and he was the unlucky one who was treated to jungle justice by being beaten by tugs in the area and burnt in White House Street , Calabar on Thursday afternoon.

The eyewitness further explained how he was hit with machete but the machete bounced back before the thugs discovered that he was with charms on his waist and legs and they were all removed and he was beaten and burnt to ashes even till as at the time of filing this news his ashes and bones are left in White House Street Calabar South, Cross River.
