Man Bags 1 month jail term for injuring two

A 27 year old named Torkuma Ver has being sentenced to 1 month imprisonment for allegedly hurting two people, A Karmo Grade 1 Area Court, Abuja, on Friday handled the case.

The judge, Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq, however, gave him N10,000 option of fine and warned him to desist from committing crime.

Ver of no fixed address was convicted on a count charge levelled against him.

The convict prayed the court to temper justice with mercy, that he was angry and he over reacted.

Earlier, the prosecutor, Florence Auhioboh, told the court that Sa’adu Suleiman and Aliyu Sani, reported the matter at the Utako Police Station, Abuja, on March 14.

Auhioboh said that the complainants on that same date, while they were standing at Utako market, the convict slapped and wounded them with razor blade.

During police investigation, he confessed to have committed the crime.
