Eric Anderson assumes role as Cross River Commissioner for Tourism
The Governor
of Cross River state, Senator Ben Ayade, on Thursday morning swore in a new
Commissioner for Tourism, Eric Anderson.
This was
made public by the governor’s Chief of Protocol, Emmanuel Okon.
According to
him, “the ceremony which took place at the State Executive Council (SEC)
chambers of the Governor’s office had all SEC members, Principal aides, Special
Advisers, Senior Special Assistants and Special Assistant in attendance.”
Anderson,
who was recently cleared by the state House of Assembly, had told newsmen that
he will run an open door policy,.
His swearing
in returns the number of serving Commissioners in the state to 27 after Ayade
failed to replace Edim Inok as Commissioner for Infrastructure following his
emergence as the State chairman of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) in 2016.
