Mourinho reveals why this is his “most difficult” Christmas
Manchester
United manager, Jose Mourinho, has admitted that this will be his toughest
Christmas ever, because of personal tragedy.
This is the
first festive period since he lost his father, Jose Manuel Mourinho Felix, in
June.
Mourinho
says it has been difficult for him personally this year.
“It’s the
first Christmas without my father and I think that’s the most difficult one,”
he said.
Mourinho
Snr. passed away at 79 in June, after spending a lengthy playing career as a
goalkeeper and earning only one cap for Portugal.
He went on
to spend two decades in the dugout, during which time he would ask Jose to
compile the scouting reports, which ultimately led to is son becoming one of
the top football managers in the world.
