EPL: Arsenal’s 22-match unbeaten run ends at Southampton
Southampton
ended Arsenal’s 22-match unbeaten run, with a 3-2 win at St Marys on Sunday.
Danny Ings
handed the Saints the lead twice, but Henrikh Mkhitaryan also scored twice, to
bring the Gunners level.
In the last
few minutes when it could have gone either way, Charlie Austin came off the bench
to net the winner.
It’s a first
home league win for Southampton this season and they are now out of relegation
places, following Burnley’s 2-1 loss to Chelsea in the other game.
Pedro
Rodriguez and Eden Hazard scored for the Blues, before Solly March pulled one
back for the hosts.
