Paprika for Africa by Otondo in Japan

Its  a New Year and it seem many are off the blocks to get a good mileage in the public space. I literally used the phrase 'off the blocks' that is unmistakably linked to Athletics because this year will have the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics. The reason is a new taste for Tokyo 2020 theme song called Paprika.

So many smart people especially none other than Prince Godswill Edwards with his catchy sobriquet Prince 7 is worthy of note. The son-in-law of former President Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan inculcated the Olympic theme song into the opening dance performance of his Sports festival in Calabar, Cross River. The football event is part of P7youth initiative, a ploy to uplift Nigerian youths-in this case sports was the veritable tool.

However, its important to state that the dance enactment of Paprika was initially billed for the Calabar Christmas Carnival. It was to be a launchpad for Paprika for Africa Challenge; an endeavor to sensitize the continent about Japan the host country of the Olympics. We would be wide eyed now as the events towards the Summer Olympics will be coming thick and fast.
