WAPI and SlimeforAfrica's attack on Malaria

WAPI and SlimeforAfrica's attack on Malaria

The West African Peoples' Institute needs little introduction to the public. Seating on its elevated perch of West Africa's first and foremost privately run Secondary school founded by Prof Eyo Ita in 1938 during the colonial government. Today she wears a new toga as the cynosure of the  Public secondary school education in Calabar, Cross River.

This is an enviable reckoning and students seem to work the stride so admirably. Especially causing tongues wagging on Facebook with their oh and ahs looking pictures. The unmissable colorfully painted classrooms betray the rationale that public schools are drab and dull, let alone the hype with the smashingly gorgeous trend with hashtag #WapiHigh school invasion.

It is heartwarming this was not all fuss and fluff seeing that during the yuletide period in December 2019. The students enacted the SlimeforAfrica Christmas Slime gifting day. The students made slime with the particular addition of Cinnamon to repel mosquitoes.

These slime lumps were gifted to a primary school for kids to help fortify the little ones against germs and mosquitoes. The essence was articulated by Mr. Usani Omini and chaperone by Mr. Odo Ojong- special birthday wishes on his birthday on Sunday 26th January.

Here's something you would love to see on Facebook via this link

I love the frills and hope to use it to do more social good like SlimeforAfrica this 2020.
